TEXT: He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.  My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.  They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.  I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.         Job 19:13-16

There is a desire to fit in to the in-crowd, to be wanted, needed and accepted fro when we are in high school to college/university and this continues when we enter the larger society of work, church, ministry and community.

You are there expecting to be loved and accepted by friends, family or the society but rather what you get is a condescending acknowledgement. Some rejections are subtle; they pay you lip service but when it matters most you are never invited, honoured or acknowledged. It could be your husband or partner who constantly uses this weapon against you to punish you when he is hurt or angry.

Job knew what rejection was like. Rejection brings a sense of shame, internal confusion, low self esteem, low self worth, timidity. This feeling is designed to cripple you, focus you constantly on how unprivileged you are, how God doesn’t love you, point out all the faults in your body, education, social standing and generally to keep you down.

Beloved it doesn’t matter how this feeling comes, I want you to know that you are God’s chosen vessel, the King’s daughter and you are accepted where it matters.

Whoever rejects you is rejecting their blessing (Gen.12:2-3), their favour from God (Prov. 18:22) and their answered prayer (1Pet. 3:7).

Walk tall because you are accepted by the Most High.

MEDITATION:  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Eph. 1:6

PRAYERS: Dear Father, thank You for loving me even when I didn’t know You and for accepting me into the Richest, Strongest and Most Influential Family on the face of the earth.

FAITH DECLARATION:  May the honour of God rest upon you and bring you into places of influence, settlement and wealth. May His right hand establish you and place His favour upon you making you desirable and attractive in Jesus name
